We are set to begin our 5th batch of online internship program. This internship is ideal for students who are passionate about law and want to gain valuable experience in legal writing, research, and social media management.

  

About ‘In Light of Law’

Started in the year 2020, In Light of Law (, inlightoflaw.com) has walked and passed several milestones since then. The idea was to create a platform that would benefit in career building and to the academic aspects for the students of law, and serve the society at large.

Our Goal is to enhance the reach of law students towards the opportunity they desire. We are working with a vision to establish a platform where legal experts & students can present their work, Articles, Legal opinions on various themes of Law and Judgments.

About The Internship

As an intern at In Light of Law, you will have the opportunity to work and contribute in various spheres:

1. Article writing: Writing articles on assigned topics through informed discussions.

2. Preparing a depository for Judiciary aspirants: Interns involved in this aspect of the internship will play a crucial role in gathering and organizing information pertaining to the Supreme Court, High Courts, and various Judicial exams. This task will be more beneficial for students in their 1st or 2nd year who aspire to pursue Judicial services as their career. The interns will delve into comprehensive research, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the data collected. The ultimate goal is to create a well-organized depository that serves as a valuable resource for individuals aspiring to enter the field of Judiciary.

3. Website management or web development: In this role, you'll gain experience in the behind-the-scenes workings of a website. Here's a breakdown of what you might be involved in:

  • • Content Management: You'll assist with keeping the In Light of Law website up-to-date with fresh legal content, news, and resources. This might involve adding new articles, editing existing content, and ensuring everything is formatted correctly for online viewing.
  • • Website Maintenance: You'll help maintain the website's technical health.
  • • SEO: You might contribute to improving the website's search engine ranking by researching relevant keywords, optimizing website content, and implementing best practices.

 

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should:

  • • Be passionate about law.
  • • have good listening, communication and analytical skills.
  • • Have a flair for writing and basic research.
  • • Be a Team Player.
